Do you know what the Butinatxa is?

Categories: Members CBGCB and MICE news.

It’s unlikely that you do, because this gastronomic proposal has only recently seen the light of day. The Butinatxa, a botifarra (sausage) made using Garnatxa (Grenache), jointly produced by Celler La Vinyeta and Carnisseries Serraplà at the request of the DO Empordà Wine Route, was presented at the inauguration of the Vívid wine tourism festival on April 1st.

Made from locally bred pork and Garnatxa, a unique sweet wine, which is highly traditional and deeply rooted in the Empordà region, this innovative product aims to showcase this wine which gives identity to the territory, as well as the local producers.

The Butinatxa has been designed for DO Empordà and the Empordà Wine Route events and for any other company or institution which applies for it. This is a new, different option for bringing local gastronomy closer to incentive events.
