For the last few weeks, TastEmotion has been presenting the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees product in Antwerp, Amsterdam and Stockholm.
The response to the presentation was very favourable among the 160-odd tourism professionals and specialised journalists who attended the presentations.
The sessions, aimed at professionals from the business tourism segment, were attended by forty-two executives from events organising agencies, such as AMEX, BCD Travel, Exclusive Tours, Carlson Wagonlit Travel, MCI Group, among others.
The agents were able to engage with the various members of the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau who attended the event: Lloret Convention Bureau, Santa Marta Hotel & Spa, Hostal de La Gavina, Evenia Hotels, Alàbriga Hotel & Home Suites and Hotel Peralada Wine Spa & Golf.
The new style of presentation of the destination consists of a sensory journey in five acts, with five gastronomic offerings by the Michelin-starred chef Quim Casellas, of Restaurant Casamar of Llafranc, and five wines from the D.O. Empordà Wine Route. The presentation of the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees product is rounded off with projection mapping on the tables, audiovisuals projected onto wraparound screens and a sound narrative complemented with aromatic and musical effects with unexpected twists in the storyline.
The initiative was launched in 2018, with editions in London, Paris, Milan and Munich.
