The Virtual Interclubs event was the first activity organised on the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board’s new digital promotional platform.
On this first occasion, 140 companies and organisations in the region actively participated in this day of reflection and analysis of the sector’s future.
The participants watched a livestreamed presentation of the main strategic lines guiding this year’s promotional activities for the destination. The event programme included networking activities, conducted within virtual rooms, and direct interventions via interactive questionnaires.
The tourism professionals analysed the current state of the sector and shared their thoughts on how to face the future, agreeing on the importance of continuing with promotional activity, particularly using digital resources.
At the end of the event, individual discussions set up among the different representatives from the guest companies and organisations resulted in more than five-hundred professional meetings being held.
Taking part in the event were the chairman of Girona Provincial Council and of the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, Miquel Noguer, and the latter’s vice-chairman, Jaume Dulsat.
