Costa Brava Business Days

The Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau brings together a group of over 40 professional event organizers and incentive agencies, businesses and associations from the Nordic, German, French and Spanish markets from 19 to 23 October.

Participants will have the opportunity to expand their network of Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau contacts and learn about the range of business tourism possibilities available in the province of Girona over the four-day event. The destination is in the process of positioning itself as a leading alternative to major European cities.

The event will kick off at a range of Lloret de Mar venues.  Hotel Evenia will host a workshop in the morning, and team building activities at Hotel Santa Marta are scheduled for the afternoon. The day will close with a gala dinner celebrated at the Sant Pere del Bosc Hotel & Spa.

The group will split off the next day into different three-day fam trips (Post Tours) that will give participants the chance to experience first-hand the region’s diversity and quality and everything it has to offer for creating unforgettable events and incentives.

Biology Meeting at the Girona Conference Centre

The Girona Conference Centre will host the Spanish Society for Developmental Biology Meeting, from 19 to 21 October. The event is a joint effort of the Portuguese Society of Biology for Developmental Biology and the Spanish Society of Cell Biology. World leaders in a range of related fields will participate in the meeting, which includes a space for selected posters and oral contributions.

55a Fira de Mostres de Girona: The Fira de Mostres de Girona (trade fair), –last year’s event registered 383 exhibitors and nearly 90,000 visitors– is back from 28 October to 1 November.

The Espai Ter Theatre and Auditorium, an unique venue where music professionals can record their work

New developments in the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau

New membre: Evenia Travel Services, specialised in inbound tourism across the Costa Brava and Barcelona, joins the over 130 Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau members that offer MICE-related products and services. The agency has a MICE department that handles incentive trips and corporate groups.

Hotel Terramar launches its website

Hotel Terramar in Llafranc now has a completely revamped website, complete with a section dedicated to corporate events.
