Catalonia has become firmly established as a leading destination in the automotive and mobility events sector. In this regard, Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees is seeking to position itself as a benchmark destination for these types of events. For this reason, it commissioned the Automotive & Mobility Events Costa Brava Girona report, carried out by Isabel Juárez consultants, with the aim of structuring all the available resources and pulling everything together in one study.

The Automotive & Mobility Events Costa Brava Girona report was written to analyse the current services and facilities the destination is offering this sector, as well as to identify emerging trends and needs. To carry out this task, interviews were held with the most important national automobile associations and sixty national and international event planning agencies in this sector.

The report was presented during a training day attended by Isabel Juárez, who gave the presentation to the member companies, and by Sara Dambruoso from SEE Network and Joan Martí Utset from Crom Events & Communication, who shared a more practical vision of the development and needs of this type of events. During this session, the participants discussed the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees’ strengths and opportunities for organising this type of events, as well as aspects to improve.

The Palau de Congressos de Girona was the venue for the session, in collaboration with Ginjoler, which provided the catering service for the event. This meeting brought together various members of the Costa Brava Girona Convention Bureau, reinforcing collaboration among local businesses and institutions in this very promising area.

The Automotive & Mobility Events Costa Brava Girona report is a first step towards the Costa Brava and Girona Pyrenees achieving its goal of becoming a top-level destination for automotive and mobility events.
